The New Normal

03 31 2021

The Team at 2Sand prides ourselves on providing top notch abrasive products and exemplary service to our customers. We like to think that those are two of the biggest reasons our business just keeps growing. We rarely offer special pricing because we would rather bring abrasive products to you at great prices all the time, and we think our customers respond to that as well.

That said, the past year has been a difficult one for us to navigate. We had some (seriously) rough patches along the way, but as a company, we are doing well. We’ve had to change and adapt to new ways of doing business and how to meet the needs of our customers, but we think we’ve settled in pretty well into the “new normal”.

The “new normal”, of course, means different things to different people. Many of our friends are working remotely. They have been successful in transferring their work situation to their home and have learned how to manage a decent work/home balance and many are planning to continue to work remote some or all of the time going forward. Other people have continued to work in the same facility, but with different roles or expectations, like retail workers and medical professionals. Some have had to seek out new employment opportunities altogether, even changing careers along the way.

Businesses have also had to make some major – and minor – adjustments to weather the challenges the past year has posed. Because our business is a reflection of how you are all doing, we like to think you are doing well too, but we’d really like to hear about it from you. How has your business changed in the last year? Did you manage to stay the course, or did you shift how you do business or perhaps change the products you produce? What insight can you share about how you and your business evolved? What does the “new normal” look like to you and how do you envision the future for your business?
