How are You Marketing?

How are You Marketing?

04 19 2013

Personally, I HATE the catchphrase "New Normal" as a descriptor of the economy these days. Change is the ONLY constant in this world and if you fight it rather than adapting to it, you and your business are doomed! So with that in mind, I am curious to find out how you are marketing your business these days. Every business needs to be marketing, if you own a cabinet shop, build furniture, make fiberglass boats or paint cars, you need to be constantly finding new customers and keeping in touch with old clients.

As many of you know, we here at 2Sand.com and Buysandpaper.com use this blog, we have a monthly newsletter, and are using Twitter and Facebook. We have bought search terms through AdWords as well. The social media marketing (Twitter and Facebook) and the content marketing (Blog, Newsletter) we have been using for a bit over two years now. We have been VERY pleased with the results, particularly with the content marketing results. We have been moving away from AdWords as it gets more expensive.

For those of you making products to sell there are online forums for that now too. Etsy and Custom Made are two. Are you using these sorts of services? Do you have a blog or newsletter? Do you rely on the local newspaper? Anyone still using the Yellow Pages? Community websites like YellowBook or Yelp? Share your experiences with the rest of our community. We'd love to hear what is working for you, what was a disaster, and you can even share links to your blogs, social media, etc.

Share your marketing savvy here on this blog, on our Facebook page, or via Twitter. -2Sand.com
