The harder zone provides firm, flat backing for accurate defect removal and leveling, while the softer zone allows slight conformance to gentle surface contours. Both zones accept Buflex PSA abrasive sheets for clearcoat and topcoat finishing operations. At 45 mm depth, the pad provides a comfortable grip for extended hand finishing work.
