It is mid-September, the days are cooling, kids are back in school and vacations are largely done with. Time to get back to serious business....

Not so fast Mateys! We be wantin' to draw yer attention to an upcommin' date! Ye'll be wantin' to observe "National Talk Like a Pirate Day" on Thursday, the 19th! Aye, 'tis a silly day when yer free to be expressin' yer inner buccaneer! "tis a fun time and be shur to let all yer crewmen know! One of the drawbacks to being self employed is that no one is usually around to here my amazingly authentic Pirate Lingo!

On a more serious note, Friday the 20th is "National Tradesmen's Day" as we have mentioned before. Though not an 'official' day, Irwin Tools sponsors a number of events around the country to honor and say 'Thank you' to the men and women who not only build the infrastructure we live with, but keep it functioning. Check out the website and see if there are any event near you.
