2SAND’s Sanding Sponge is a 4-sided rectangular foam block coated with abrasives on all four surfaces. Sanding sponges are perfect for contoured surfaces and have sharp 90 degree corners for precise sanding of rabbets and recesses. The Aluminum Oxide abrasive is available in 60, 100, and 150 grits which correspond to Coarse (60), Medium (100) and Fine (150) unlike standard sandpaper grit standards. The 60 grit works well for shaping and initial sanding of rough surfaces, the 100 for removing small blemishes and quickly cleaning up parts after CNC milling, and the 150 for finish sanding. These sanding sponges can be used in both wet and dry applications and have a smooth, long-lasting cut. The foam block core gives these sanding sponges flexibility to easily conform to the project surface while still remaining firm enough to work in difficult areas. 2SAND’s 4” x 3” x 1” blocks are highly portable and have a comfortable grip.  250 sponges per case.
