This 7-7/8 x 29-1/2 inch silicon carbide belt is made for drum floor sanders used in hardwood floor refinishing. The X-weight cloth backing provides the tensile strength necessary to handle the aggressive cutting action of drum floor sanders, and silicon carbide abrasive performs particularly well on hard, resinous species where aluminum oxide can glaze.
